cough

fell ill again. dunno how many times in this year.
bad weather gives you bad health.

my hair is suppose to be copper but looked black.
long time since i had black hair. free dye anyway for helping someone.
oh and i CUT my hair short AGAIN.

i love to shop but i hate sales. ironic.
i hate crowd hence sales sucks.
esp when kiasu ppl nudge u front and back to get watever they want.
sales depreciates the value of items.
whatever i've gotten at original price ppl pay half to get it. cheapened.
can there me a sale exclusively for me?

food dailies

seafood and durian at malaysia on friday after much saying.
seafood was good but durian sucked.
cheated. conned. whatever term u can give.
105bucks for 2 lousy durian which seemed like 1.

compensation came on sat night after fellowship.
wenta geylang for durian and youtiao & soya bean.
then headed to chomp chomp (my very 1st visit) for more food.
we're suppose to show appreciation to the brothers for "bringing" us along for their supper trip.
oh wells. thanks ya.

more food again today. farewell dinner cum gathering at bishan with my ex-colleagues.
many left. more are leaving. poor management i guess.

busy shifting house and it totally saps my energy. tiring.
why can't there be a button for instant house changing?

enjoyment

though 22 weeks of work was quite boring but they've alr become a part of my life.

ocean's 13 was not bad. not as sleep inducing as compared to shrek 3 and pirates.
weird combi but wells. still good.

fellowship talked bout daddy's day. the message was rather inspiring.
learn to appreciate and communicate more with ur family.
i'll try though its really hard.

sat night was rather pathetic cus there were 3 souls left.
wenta venezia for ice-cream. supposedly movie at lin's place after.
but had to rush down to the hospital to visit my bro-in-law's dad in critical condition.

playing sports with church ppl after church will be my new found hobby.
its fun and healthy. most importantly, it fills the empty slots we always have after service.

watched napoleon dynamite at winson's.
how interesting. all thanks to ben.

attended e funeral of my bro-in-law's dad with mummy jus now.
life's jus so fragile.
when its time to leave, no matter how hard we try to avoid, we'll have to go.
then i brought mum to the daily scoop for waffle and ice-cream.
i really enjoy time without work. =)

vegetarian

dinner at original sin (chin bee garden) was fantastic.
nice dimly lit place. vegetarian. rather expensive.
but wells. its money well spent i think.
anyway i din pay for it. shuqing did.

joined the older ppl (shuqing's caregroup) for a game of alhamba at kelly's.
fun bunch of oldies and fun game of course.
its like a weekly affair for them. cool.
will yf be able to do that? i think we're too big a group.
but. i refuse to split. how to? each one plays a part in making the fellowship whole.
alright shall not think!

last day at work's the slackest day ever.
went to collect some stuffs with boss' son.
went to causeway point to walk a lil'. got a cake for 'em to call for celebration.
walked around in the office like i'm liberated.
finally. the sun i'll see.

girls' days

dinner with the double Tees on monday. walked. shopped. talked.

dinner with the 2 lovely ladies, huilin and wenjun, on tues.
finally. i was brought to this korean restaurant at bukit timah plaza. barley field.
we ordered quite a few items and the price was rather reasonable.
oh. cycle and carriage is so hard to find.

my parents' are back from their retreat.
means. mini terrorist (my niece) is back too.
i shan't be mean. she adorable but naughty at times.

countryside

i've been in the rural for the past few days.
watched shrek 3 with my lovely yf peepz at JURONG.
how citified.

sunday was basically a sit and eat and chill day.
wenta johnson duck after let praise arise.
then to daily scoop at sunset way.
met weilun at ps for toastbox.
and headed to serangoon central for his shaker fries.
(that was the first time i was there. so ulu.)

i'm a rural girl.

its my last week at work and i'm treated pathetically.
i had to vacate my seat cus there's this new staff comin in.
i had to give up my access pass even before i end work.
HOW NICE!
wells. its okie. i'm ending work! finally gonna be outta this lousy place.
oh but my colleagues are nice. so they make up the pathetic treatment.

mum and dad's outta town till tues.
car's mine for these 2 days.
parking sucks cus its really expensive.
i needa find a suga daddy. kidding.

disgusted

supper with my friends on wed turned to gore.
we witness a fight. a group of malays chasing a malay.
one of the guy whipped out a parang and started chopping the poor man.
scared and disgusted, all the customers dispersed from the scene.
the 'chopped' man was lying on the floor in pain. blood was smeared on the floor.
after the commotion was over. police and ambulance brought the injured man away.
the place was cordoned off with police tape.

we decided to go to the other stall a few steps down for supper instead.
still not recovered from the shock and we were totally paranoid then.
while walkin past the 'crime' scene, my friend and i smelled a strong stench.
i think i saw a piece of flesh on the floor when i accidentally glance over.
totally grossed up and disgusted. yucks.
enough said.

vesak day was spent with family, goin to my new house and brunch with em.
it was also spent sleeping at home. good time for recuperation actually.

counting down. 7 days to freedom from the 830 to 530 cage!
